Cheapest smartphone of world launches in India for less than $4 or Rs251

A company called Ringing Bells from India, launched the worlds cheapest smartphone today. This smartphone is called Freedom 251 & is costs Rs251 which is less than $4.

img_freedom1This smartphone Freedom 251 is equipped with a 1.3 GHz quad core processor, 1GB RAM, 4 inch display, 1450 mAh battery. As well as it’s also equipped with a rear camera of 3.2 Megapixel and a front camera of 0.3 Megapixel.

This smartphone has Android Lollipop 5.1 Operating System (OS). There are also some pre-installed apps.

Ringing Bells announced that this smartphone comes with a 1-year warranty and can be serviced at any of the 650 service centres in India. Bookings start on Feb. 18 at 6 a.m. and shuts on Feb. 21 at 8 p.m. While they will complete deliveries by June 30.
